Job Description
We are seeking an Algorithm Engineer specializing in Chemoinformatics to support the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects primarily applied in the fields of chemical synthesis, separation analysis, biology, and pharmaceutical research.
Position Requirements
1. Master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, artificial intelligence, with knowledge and experience in chemistry and bioinformatics.
2. Familiarity with chemoinformatics, including molecular representation, fingerprints, molecular descriptors, substructure matching, chemical reaction templates, and experience with chemoinformatics software like ChemAxon and RDkit.
3. Proficiency in machine learning with a strong understanding of classical machine learning and leading deep learning algorithms. Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
4. Strong programming skills, including proficiency with Linux systems, Python, machine learning libraries, and SQL. Good software programming experience in Python/Java is a plus.
5. Ability to read and comprehend English literature, a strong aptitude for learning, and the ability to independently solve problems.
Tasks
1. Develop end-to-end algorithms for data science and AI projects in the field of chemistry, meeting project requirements. This includes data mining, data analysis, feature engineering, AI model development, and optimization.
2. Contribute to the development of AI algorithms in the fields of chemistry and biopharmaceuticals, including the construction and optimization of predictive models, retrosynthetic analysis, reaction condition prediction, chemical structure analysis, and more.
3. Collect and integrate data generated by chemists in the context of chemical synthesis reactions and separation analyses. Utilize chemoinformatics software such as ChemAxon, RDkit, and Python for data preprocessing and computation.
4. Test and fine-tune AI models.
5. Software development experience is a plus.
