Job Description
The program had been designed to provide an accelerated induction experience. Management trainee will learn different aspects of the business and develop core competencies and skills from operation activities to back end activities which fast-track your career in the retailing industry. Management trainee also has to adapt to working with different sets of people in a different department. The main duty is to gain as much knowledge of the organization as prepare for the executive and any roles at the managerial level. Be aware of company policy and procedure practice and learn about the necessary methods and procedures from experienced staff in the organization.
Position Requirements
1. STPM / Diploma / Degree holder in any field.
2. Fresh Graduate and those at least 1 year of working experience in the retail field.
3. Knowledge in operation business management.
4. Proven ability to manage and motivate staff.
5. Good communication skills, writing, and presentation skills.
6. Has analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Demonstrated hardworking, independence, reliability, and teamwork.
8. Proactive and initiative.
9. Aptitude to learn and adapt.
10. Strong Management Skills.
11. High energy and a strong passion for the retail business.
12. Mathematic skills & Multi-tasking.
13. Commercial awareness.
14. Attention to details.
15. Time management.
Tasks
To understand the whole selling process, from stock order to the selling. And so the documents handling in the process.
2. To prepare Daily Sales & Gross Profit Report and action plan.
3. Understanding the customer buying behavior and perform the standard to meet customer expectations.
4. Solving all the operational issues in order to meet 100% customer satisfaction.
5. To execute staff compliance Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Manual & Guideline, and General Operation Work Instruction (GOWI) at the outlet.
6. To develop organizational skills and attention to detail to monitor inventory and compare products, prices, and markets.
7. To learn how to organize and plan for fair or promotion activities in collaboration with the marketing department’s plan.
8. To acquire analytical and mathematical skills to operate within a budget and to evaluate sales data including competitors.
9. To responsible for the management and operations of the Security and Safety at Emart Supermarket to support the Security and Safety of the premises, people and loss prevention investigation.
Salary Range
RM1800 - RM2200
