i. Oversee workshop operations, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of all machinery.
ii. Coordinate the daily workshop schedule and allocate manpower and resources effectively.
iii. Supervise and follow up on the actual progress of each repair or maintenance job.
iv. Ensure warranties are properly followed up, monitored, documented, and updated in accordance with SANY procedures and requirements.
v. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, submission, and record-keeping of all maintenance reports, checklists, work orders, delivery orders, and equipment histories.
vi. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and define breakdown problems.
vii. Provide technical guidance to team members to ensure effective performance.
viii. Ensure training for the workshop team is conducted in line with service requirements.
ix. Manage workshop performance to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
x. Control the budget and expenditures related to repair and maintenance jobs.
xi. Communicate and liaise professionally with customers and manufacturers.
xii. Ensure all workshop assets and tools are kept in good condition to prevent theft, loss, or misuse.
xiii. Monitor subordinates to ensure compliance with company regulations and safety standards, maintain good discipline, and complete tasks as assigned.
xiv. Maintain strict confidentiality of all company information and prevent unauthorized disclosure.
xv. Fulfill responsibilities primarily at HLM Machinery Sdn. Bhd., Kuching branch, while also supporting other subsidiaries and branch companies as required.
xvi. Seek continuous opportunities for professional development to enhance knowledge and performance.
xvii. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
2. Proficiency in Mandarin (able to liaise with suppliers from China)
3. Possession of a valid Class D driving license
