Job Description

Oversees construction progress status and to ensure adhere to specifications in order to fulfil classification standard quality

Position Requirements

-Minimum SPM / above or equivalent
-A recognized welding qualification / Certified Welder Qualification Test

Tasks

-Inspecting Welding Work: Ensure welds are done correctly, checking for defects and compliance with standards.
-Safety Monitoring: Enforce safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and ensuring work permits are in place.
-Documentation: Maintain records of inspections, tests, and reports on project progress.
-Coordination: Work with engineers and supervisors to resolve issues and meet project milestones.
-Quality Control: Verify materials and welding work meet required specifications and standards.
-Certifications: Ensure welders are qualified, and welding procedures comply with industry standards.
-Testing Materials: Conduct or supervise tests to ensure materials meet project requirements.
-Access Control: Monitor safe access to work areas and act as an Authorized Gas Tester if required
