Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. You will work closely with project manager to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and ensure the smooth operation of our app platform.

Position Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Strong proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Node.js or Laravel.
· Proficient in using website front-end languages, such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
· Experience with database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB.
· Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
· Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
· Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in both English and Mandarin.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, effectively sharing knowledge and ideas with colleagues, and actively participating in group discussions to achieve common goals.
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
· Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
· Experience with or a strong interest in solar panel or energy management systems is an advantageous.

Tasks

· Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
· Design and implement robust APIs for seamless integration with frontend components.
· Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
· Implement security and data protection measures.
· Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
· Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
· Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Salary Range

$3000-3500(SGD)
