Job Description

Main Responsibilities of a Field Engineer:
- Site Inspection & Assessment
- Pre-visit project sites to assess conditions, and prepare draft design to meet compliance regulations
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare submission reports and design drawings to the both authority and end user
- Ensure all design comply with safety regulations, codes, and project standards.
- Installation & Commissioning
- Prepare Gantt chart, check progress, and ensure installation or upgrading work meets design specifications
- Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Meeting with Department of Environment (when applicable)
- Report issues, progress, and solutions promptly.
- Testing & Verification
- Conduct performance monitoring and verify equipment or systems meet specifications.
- Support commissioning and handover procedures.

Tasks

Site Check: Visit sites to check conditions and plan the design.
Paperwork: Prepare reports and drawings; make sure everything follows safety rules.
Installation Work: Make a work schedule, check progress, and ensure work is done correctly.
Team Work: Work with project teams, clients, and authorities; give updates and solve problems.
Testing: Test equipment and systems; help with final checks and project handover.
