Job Description

The Draftsperson is responsible for preparing detailed structural and post-tensioning (PT) drawings based on the engineer’s design and specifications. This role ensures that all drawings and documentation comply with project requirements and industry standards.

Position Requirements

• Structural Draughtsman
• Good knowledge of AUTOCAD
• Good computer knowledge
• Able to communicate/work well with all levels, present ideas and suggestions effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work under pressure and beyond regular hours to meet tight deadlines.

Tasks

• Prepare structural layouts and details based on the engineer's design • Check architectural and structural drawings and prepare required PT concept drawings based on the engineer's design • Prepare PT shop drawings. • Prepare post-tension profile drawings. • Prepare reinforcement bar details and layout. • To undertake other ad-hoc duties specified by the Management from time to time. • To implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
