The Research Assistant’s main responsibilities are to translate investment-related contents and materials from English to Mandarin and vice versa. You will also assist the senior management and investment analysts in ad-hoc projects, presentations and reports.

Requirements:

A strong Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Economics, English, Chinese, Journalism or equivalent.
An excellent command of English and Mandarin is essential.
Experience with CAT tools (Computer-Assisted Translation) is a plus.
Strong interest in investment related and current affairs.
Able to meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to travel as required, including accompanying the Managing Director to business meetings to provide interpretation and translation support.
Be committed, resourceful, meticulous, detail-oriented and have a sense of integrity.

Responsibilities:
Validating, proofreading, and editing AI translated content and material (investment and non-investment related), ensuring factual and terminological accuracy, and that the final translation is clear, coherent, and appropriate for the intended audience. It involves translation from English to Mandarin and vice versa.
Assisting the senior management and investment analysts in ad-hoc projects, presentations and reports.
