Semiconductor Analyst (Investment)

Responsibilities:

Conduct timely, critical and in-depth research and analysis of the global semiconductor industry, listed and unlisted companies in the semiconductor supply chain.

Understanding the companies' business models, arriving at their intrinsic valuations and monitoring industry developments and trends is an essential part of this position.

The successful applicant will be required to generate sound investment ideas to the Fund Manager.

Strong Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral qualifications in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Materials, Chemical, Mechanical or E&E Engineering from reputable universities.

Having additional qualification in Accountancy, Finance or Management or some working experience in the semiconductor sector will be an advantage.

Possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Have the right character, attitudes, and a readiness to meet tight deadlines are expected.

Self-motivated, highly analytical, resourceful, street smart, able to clearly communicate ideas and judgment and most of all, have a deep sense of integrity.

Successful candidates will need to obtain the necessary regulatory licenses from Securities Commission Malaysia upon joining.

Conduct in-depth research on global semiconductor industry and supply chain companies
Analyze business models and determine intrinsic valuations
Monitor industry trends and developments
Evaluate listed and unlisted companies
Generate and present investment ideas to the Fund Manager
