Job Description

1. IETS Operations & Environmental Compliance: Operate and monitor primary, secondary, and tertiary Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems (IETS) to ensure final discharge strictly complies with EQA Standard B, DOE guidelines, and ISO 14001 standards.

2. Plant Utility Management: Oversee site-wide utility systems—including steam generation, cooling/chilled water, nitrogen, compressed air, and water treatment plants—to maintain peak operational efficiency and system reliability.

3. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Develop and execute preventive/corrective maintenance for IETS and utility equipment (pumps, blowers, clarifiers, dosing systems) while conducting root cause analysis to resolve process upsets.

4. Regulatory Affairs & Government Liaison: Act as primary contact for the Department of Environment (DOE), tracking changing environmental laws, issuing regulatory news alerts, and ensuring full site compliance.

5. Performance Optimization & Energy Conservation: Monitor utility consumption trends to identify cost-saving energy and water conservation opportunities, lead R&D improvement projects, and generate comprehensive performance reports.
