Speaker: Mr. Serge Jean

Serge is a registered Canadian Professional Geophysicist with over 25 years of international experience in the oil and gas upstream business.

He has been involved in operated exploration, development and new venture activities and has been the creative force behind finding and delivering many energy investment opportunities globally.

Prior to this Serge worked in India, Russia, the North Sea, West Africa and North America for numerous small cap and large cap companies as a Geophysicist to Chief Geoscientist and was part of the leadership team to deliver projects or strategies for New Ventures, Exploration and Developments.

He is an active volunteer to many local professional societies, including being a member of the SPE Carbon Dioxide Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) steering committee. In his current role as Managing Director at ALECA Sdn Bhd, Serge is helping a team of both Young & Experienced Professionals build a cloud-based system of integrated tools to evaluate any energy investment opportunity.
