One of the main concerns due to the proliferation of Distributed Generation (DG) systems in electrical power networks is the occurrence of islanding. Islanding is a condition in which a section of the utility system is disconnected from the mains utility voltage source but the local DGs continue to operate and energize the loads in that isolated area.
