Micro heat pipes are miniature heat transfer device that is similar to the conventional heat pipe and use phase change to transfer thermal energy. It has similar principles with the het pipe only smaller in size. It has a very high effective thermal conductivity. For this reason, it is very desirable devices with limited space and high heat generation. The micro heat pipe transfers heat from a heat-generating component to a heat sink where heat is sissipated.
