Local ASTM class F (low calcium) fly ash from Kuching, Malaysia is used. Low water to cementitious material ratio is adopted. Properties of concrete, such as compressive strength, splitting-tensile strength, strength development, setting times of mortar, as well as the workability of the fresh concrete are studied.
