Title
VoIP - Performance Measurement Over 802.11 Multi-Hops Network
Wireless LAN (WLAN) networks have experienced a wide popularity over the past few years offering broadband access to users with particular emphasis on data. With the recent interest in voice over internet protocol (VoIP), WLAN has also been proposed by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to offer a low cost wireless voice network infrastructure for rural areas. In this project, we investigate the capability of the pervasive IEEE802.11 network to support VoIP applications to form a wireless backhaul voice network to rural areas.
