Abstract

An alternative method of heat extraction from solar energy is investigated with the use of flat-plate solar collector for rankine power cycle. The system uses the concept of harnessing power generation from solar heat source. The rankine power system configuration consists of evaporator, turbine, condenser and feed pump which uses R134a as the working fluid.
