Abstract

When designing wireless communication systems, it is very important to know the optimum numbers and locations for the access points. Incorrect placement of APs might increase the costs of deployment and interference if placing too many access points, or lead to coverage gaps if placing too few. In this case, optimum deployment techniques are required to ensure proper coverage area; capacity and minimum interference from adjacent channels are among some of the parameters that need to be considering for optimum deployment.
