Abstract

Fracture of bone is a common fracture in everyone daily life. One of the methods in fixing this fracture is through implementation of screws, wires and plate. Hence drilling of bone has an important application in the field of orthopedic surgery. During drilling of bone, heat generated around the drilled holes/edge does not transfer quickly enough. This is due to the fact that bone has a low thermal conductivity.
