Heat transfer performance of new fin geometries of plate and tube heat exchanger
There are several heat transfer enhancement methods that are currently being used in the industry to increase the flow turbulance. These methods can be classified into two categories such as active and passive method. In this research, passive heat transfer enhancement was focused. The aim of the research is to investigate the heat transfer performance of the new plate fin geometries in plate and tube heat exchanger. Three new fin geometries plate were also investigated which is corrugated fin, V-shape fin and wavy fin.
