Abstract

Stability is defined as the ability of a boat vessel to return to its original position due to the presences of center of buoyancy and vertical center of gravity. Boat will experience capsize when the negative stability occurs, due to the effects of wave train and the unbalance forces acting at the vessels. Therefore, improvement of the boat stability in the transportation industries is sitll a challenging task nowadays. Therefore in this research project, an analysis is done on the performance of the new designed T-shaped bilge keels onthe boat stability.
