The study of volute design in radial inflow turbine with refrigerant for a small scale organic rankine cycle (ORC) system
The aim of this thesis is to set up an automate process of CFD simulation in order to study the flow of refrigerant in different volutes design. By using this method, the verification between volutes simulation could be done in a simpler and robust way. This method is suitable to be used as conceptual design tool for inflow radial turbine and also supports custom made fluids that are not included in the software database.
