Carbon nanotube was first discovered by Dr. Iijina in the year of 1991. Upon the discovery, subsequent researches on the carbon nanotube are commenced to study its material properties. In this research study, three different type of beam element properties which are the based on Benzene force constant, Lu an Hu force constant and F. Scarpa beam property are used to study its effect toward the Young modulus of single walled carbon nanotube. In addition to it, different wall thicknesses of carbon nanotube are also studied.
