Mixed convection heat transfer in horizontal ducts is given significant attention as duct is primarily an integral part of any thermal energy conversion apllication. By comprehending the heat transfer characteristics within a duct, more efficient and reliable thermal engineering designs can be produced. This numerical study intends to provide greater physical insight for the effects of thermal boundary conditions and radiation on the mixed conversion heat ttransfer in a horizontal square duct heated from different sides.
