PLC program for sequential control speed drive
The ultimate objective of this project is to prepare the students to the professional practices in Electrical/Instrumentation and control/process engineering. This project require to study the concepts or principles of programming the programmable logic controller (PLC), direct torque control (DTC), squirrel-cage induction motor and apply the controlling technique in OMRON programmable logic controller to deal with the ABB ACS800 speed drive to control the start/stop, forward/reverse and speed of the squirrel-cage induction motor.
