The aims of this project are to design a system using three-phase controlled rectifier converter to control the speed of the DC motor and to maintain the motor speed for any load conditions as referred to the desired value. The implementation of this system is designed on a MATLAB program. The relevant sensors, filters and PI controllers are used in order to achieve the aims of this project.
