Abstract
This project presents a hybrid power system in which the technology consists of biomass and solar energy system in Sarawak. This type of renewable energy is generally the cleanest option of producing energy, perticularly to get rid of greenhouse gas emissions. In remote areas, new technologies for off-grid rural electrification promise environmentally begign access to electricity at lower cost than conventional technologies. Sarawak is a suitable location to be chosen to develop a number of small power generations in remote areas with the use of hybrid power system technology to enable the electricity supply without connected to the national grid electricity supply.
