Stand-alone hybrid energy system (SHS) comprises of different energy sources such as solar power, micro-hydro, wind and biomass. At present, there are many rural areas in many places such as Thailand, India and Sri Lanka that need to develop a small power generations in remote areas without any kind of constraints such as terrain and distance. Small SHS of renewable energy are aimed for small and remote located community as hybrid system has a high reliability without any need of over sizing the system components.
