In this paper, a prototype thermoelectric (TE) refrigerator has been developed, with single cooling compartment 0f 6.8 x 10-³m³. The cooling system is made up of a Peltier module (82.1W) with its hot and cold sides were in contact with heat exchangers. Its cooling performance were evaluated in terms of the coefficient of performance (COP), heat pumping capacity and cooling down rate.
