Title
Hardware Implementation of Solar Tracking Microcontroller
Solar energy is rapidly advancing as an important means of renewable energy resource. This thesis includes the design and construction of a prototype microcontroller-based solar panel tracking system. Solar tracking produces more energy than normal stand alone solar panels. More energy is produced because the solar panel is able to remain aligned to the sun and hence keeping the solar panel right angle to the rays of light will produce maximum energy output. A wowrking prototype will be demonstrated to validate the design. Problems and possible improvements to the solar tracker will also be presented.
