The usage of renewable energy has been greatly promoted in order to replace the conventional use of fossil fuel due to its sustainability. There are various types of renewable energy however, this document will be discussing specifically on the use of solar energy. It is important to ensure that the system configuration chosen for any project is suitable for the consumer needs as well as its compatibility to the area. The installation of the system has to be cautiously done with the provided steps. This thesis shall present the design and the installation of a solar energy system that runs with a two axis tracker at the new multi purpose hall located on the ground of phase two of Curtin University of Technology, Sarawak campus.
