Abstract

In every cutting process wearing of the tool occurs, wear process can be very complex as there are many type of wear such as flank wear, crater wear and nose wear. Therefore understanding of wear during cutting process is very important for cutting tool develepors. The aim of this research is to study the effect of different tool nose radius on tool wear during turning process of AISI 1045 steel material of workpiece.
