Controller design for heavy duty gas turbine (Miri 110 MW gas turbine power plant)
The speed controller for a heavy duty gas turbine was designed using stochastic optimization, namely Genetic Algorithm. The controller was found to have an improved perfomance over the original controller design. This thesis describes the development of the gas turbine model based on the Miri 110MW Power Plant, with the parameter estimation and controller tuning for the said model.
