Title
Design of digital camera interface between CMOS image sensor and computer
OV6620 CMOS image sensors are single-chip video/imaging camera devices designed to provide a high level of functionality in a single, small-footprint package. In this project, a digital camera interface is designed on the computer in order to communicate with the image sensor. The image data from the sensor would be transferred to computer via serial communication interface, so further image construction would be implemented on the computer. Labview is a platform and development environment for a visual programming language from National Instruments. As for the hardware, the interface was implemented using Freescale HCS12 16-bit microcontroller.
