Finite element analysis and experimental study on the effect of cutting fluid and lead angle on tool life and surface roughness using machine vision
The aim of this research is to study the effect of cutting fluid and tool lead angle on tool life and surface roughness in turning process. The simulation analysis was done by using the commercial finite element analysis software (Thirdwave Advantedge software). The software can determine the temperature distribution on the tool and workpiece that are hardly to determine through experiment study.
