Computational fluid dynamic modelling for fluidized bed gasification
Computational fluid dynamic modeling, which has recently proven to be an effective mean of analysis and optimization of energy-conversion process, has been extend to design optimization of fluidized bed gasifier. In this paper, a three dimensional model of a fluidized bed for biomass; palm shell gasification is presented. Themodel describes the complex physical and chemical phenomena in the gasifier, includes multiphase, heat transfer and species transport of gasification process.
