Title
Extraction and characterisation of oil palm empty fruit bunch fibres for fabrication of green composite materials
Natural fibre reinforced polymer composite materials are among the most attractive areas of polymer sciences today. These composites are low density, low cost, and most importantly environmental friendly. However, natural fibre composites cannot compete with conventional synthetic fibre composites in terms of physical and mechanical properties. Because these properties are greatly dependent on the compatibility of oil palm fibres and the polymer matrix.
