Abstract

This study investigation covers thermal analysis of forced convection in parabolic through collector with varying Reynolds members and different surface emissivity of the pipe. The main objectives of the project is actually to construct and fabricate the test section with appropriate parameters suitable for the experiment. Besides to identify the significance of forced convection heat transfer in solar parabolic trough plate collector, it is also to execute the experiment, investigating the parabolic trough collector efficiency for a range of boundary condition, airflow velocity, and pipe emissivity. The study then present an official engineering report on the implementation, result, analysis and conclusion regarding the project.
