Abstract

When an electrical conductor is moved so as to cut lines of magnetic induction, the charged particles in the conductor experience a force in a direction mutually perpendicular to the magnetic field and to the velocity of the conductor. To simply say, the objective was to create a prototype to explain or obtain better understanding of the MHD interaction. The term MHD directly applies on the subject Fluid Mechanics, the study of fluid flow which is electrically conducting and moves in a magnetic field.
