This study aims to convert dirty dishes into clean and hygiene dishes through the reverse engineering of a conventional dish washing machine by applying theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ). In the reverse design of dishwashing machine, TRIZ provides the tools for development of inventive and innovative solutions which would solve problems instead of providing a temporary fix for the problems which usual problem solving tools are able to provide.
