Abstract

Wireless communications links with MIMO systems are a main attraction nowadays since they have proven to increase capacity of wireless channels to meet the ever increasing future requirements of supplying high data rate wireless communications. the determination of channel state information (CSI) is very important for precoder designs of MIMO. Most of the current precoder designs have assumed perfect CSI which is inaccurate. Herein, a robust precoder design with imperfect CSI either at the relay-receiver link or at both links is considered for MIMO relay systems. The design is then compared with previous designs in terms of ergodic capacity.
