Comparison of surface roughness measurement in turning process using profilometer and machine vision system
The measurement of roughness on machined surface is of considerable importance to manufacturing industries as the quality of a surface has a significant influence on its quality and function of product. In this research, an experiment approach for the surface roughness measurement has been done based on the comparisonof roughness parameter collected from the stylus profiler and machine vision system on the metal surface which induced by the turning operation.
