Title
Optimized renewable energy resources utilization model for rural areas in Sarawak
Energy systems based on renewable resources are essential for meeting various end-uses such as electricity, heating and pumping for remote areas where the national grid connection is usually not accessible. This paper aims to design a hybrid power system (HPS) for the purpose of optimizing locally available energy sources for fulfilling the electrical energy demand requirements of a selected pilot area - Zone 6 of Miri Division in Sarawak.
