Abstract

This research works presents an approach to establish the efforts in optimization of tool wear and surface roughness models in end milling of Aluminium Nitride ceramic, using micro grain two flute Solid Carbide End Mills under dry conditions. Response surface methodology coupled with small Box-Behnken Design (BBD) was used in developing the tool life and surface roughness models.
