Abstract

Diamond tool grits are used in machining process to achieve good surface finish. Surface finish is one of the most important factor in machining process. Machinable Glass Ceramic (MGC) had been widely used in the aerospace and biomedcal applications. Selection of optimum cutting parameters in end milling is very important tast to achieve good surface finish and high material removal rate. This research work describes the application of Response surface methodology to optimize the cutting parameters in identifying good surface roughness and material removal rater (MRR).
