Since past few decades, utilizing biomass as a source of energy is one of the way to overcome problems due to overusing of fossils fuels and global warming, while many benefits are associated within the use of biofuels. Malaysia has a tropical climate making it well suited for the growth of palm oil cultivation, which has resulted in the expansiveness of the industry there. The massive amount of bio-waste resulting from the processing of the oil palm provide the resources for the production of biofuels.
