Computational Analysis on the Effects of Feed Rates and Cutting in Turning Process
Surface roughness of workpiece is influenced by the machining parameters. This research is to study the significant for both feed and cutting speed on surface roughness for turning process of AISI 304 stainless steel workpiece and cubic boron nitride cutting tool based on amplitude roughness parameter. In this work, the commercial finite element analysis software (Thirdwave Advantage software) was selected for simulation analysis.
