Abstract

Piping systems are exposed to corrosive environments which lead to various degradation mechanisms. Wall thickness inspection, carried out on pipeline systems susceptible to degradation, provides useful information to assess the lite of the pipeline system. The objective of this study is to develop a degradation model that would aid in the prediction of the life of pipeline systems.
