Abstract

The studies of unmanned aerial vehicle are becoming more popular nowadays. One of its family, quadrotor has been widely used as commercial radio controlled UAV. Quad or quadruple by means is having four similar parts. Thus, for quadrotor, the UAV is having four similar rotors and positioned symmetrically to produce thrust. Quadrotor development is important for university students to study the basic of flight aerodynamics and its structural analysis. This research project aims to demonstrate the design methodology of the quadrotor body frame or chassis.
