Abstract

The primary purpose of this research paper is to enhance the understanding for the effect of cutting parameters on tool wear and surface roughness in end milling of Iconel 718 by using coated carbide insert tools. Experiments were conducted on CNC milling machine using coated tool insert in CNC machine. To minimize tool wear and surface roughness of the work piece Inconel 718, two cutting parameters which are cutting speed and feed rate was considered in the experiment.
