A Study of Vector Control For Squirrel Cage Induction Motor
Vector control today has become increasingly popular in many variable speed drives industries. The aim of this project is to investigate the performance of vector control by using the Matlab Simulink software. The vector control of a squirrel cage machine is design and studies carefully. Later, analysis of tuning the PI controller in producing a dynamic performance of the system is being done. Lastly, the rotor speed, developed torque, rotor flux and d-q axis current waveforms of simulation output are being observed and discussed.
